LIEGE 2019 – 19th Symposium of the Belgian Society of Nuclear Medicine
Dear colleagues and friends,
After the 18th edition in Ghent, we would like to invite you to Liege for the 19th edition of the Symposium of the Belgian Society of Nuclear Medicine (BELNUC), taking place from May 10 to 12, 2019.
The symposium will be organised in the Palais des Congrès, a centrally located convention centre just a few minutes from downtown.
The convention centre is located on the banks of the Meuse river and is surrounded by a majestic park.
Visitors will have a large choice of hotels within walking distance or easily reachable by public transport in Liege.
Theme of this year is “The future of nuclear medicine”, with a special emphasis on oncology. The national and international speakers will share their expertise with us, presenting opportunities both for patient’s care, including imaging and therapy, and for professionals working in the field of nuclear medicine through, for example, the presentation of Pr Dimitris Visvikis on deep learning and artificial intelligence.
Everyone can have his/her own contribution to this congress by submitting his/her work in the form of an abstract. Accepted abstracts will either be displayed in the poster area or presented orally, competing for an award in each professional category.
This congress is also the perfect opportunity to meet your Belgian colleagues and companies. Lastly, and not least, we are happy to welcome you on Saturday evening May 11 for the gala dinner in the beautiful venue of Val Saint Lambert.
We look forward to this year’s meeting, which we hope will be as inspiring as other years, both scientifically as socially.
Do not hesitate to diffuse this announcement among your colleagues.
