Cardiac First-Pass

Images of heart first-pass studies are taken if a bolus of high activity flows through the ventricles.

The acquisition is made in the high-speed dynamic frame mode (20 frames per second) while the bolus is still completely in the left ventricle (LV) or right ventricle (RV). Problems caused by background counts and overlapping ventricles are avoided which occur at multi-gated studies (MUGA).

  • Display of time-activity curve (zoomable)
  • Definable sum image for input of heart ROI and background ROI
  • Allows selection of optimal cycles
  • Computation of Ejection fraction, heart frequency and heart cycle
Definable sum image with on the fly changable display options and optional cine display.
